Tietgenkollegiet is located next to the Amager department of the University of Copenhagen (KUA) and the IT University. Other neighbours include blocks of flats by the name of Karen Blixen Parken and ”Boligslangen”, as well as the new headquarters of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) and the achieve of the Royal Library.
