Tietgenkollegiet is run by the Tietgenkollegiet Foundation, which as established on the basis of a donation from the Nordea Denmark Foundation. The Tietgenkollegiet Foundation has Mogens Hugo Jørgensen as chairman of the board of directors and Jørgen Høeg Pedersen as general manager.
The day-to-day operation of Tietgenkollegiet is handled by the dormitory administration in collaboration with a democratically appointed dormitory council.
